The final score obtained calculated using the D.Re.S. model provides a global overview of the reliability of the IT data managed and shown to the end user by a software product.
The D.Re.S. Score, however, is not only a numerical value for evaluating your work, but has various interpretative possibilities, thus giving it a high level of interest that is absolutely not limited to reading and consideration by the end user. In detail, this score is extremely useful to various subjects and in different stages of software application development, and in particular:
- to the developer company in the design phase, which through the D.Re.S. is able to define the guidelines for the realization of its own product;
- to the developer company in the publication and marketing phase, which through its D.Re.S. has the ability to provide a clear schematic representation of the seriousness and reliability with which it manages the information processed by its software;
- to companies in the development or design phase that intend to use third-party software and hardware, which will be able to guide their choice through the Score presented by the latter and enrich their D.Re.S. by providing a clear assessment of the reliability of the products of third parties involved;
- to the end user, the actual recipient for the representation of the processed data, the ultimate user of the software product.
